Ko wai au

Who am I?

He uri tēnei nō Ngāi Te Rangi, Ngāti Ranginui, Tūhourangi, Waikato me Ngāpuhi hoki.

Ko Rohario Murray tōku ingoa.

I am a Barrister specialising in Public Law, Te Tiriti o Waitangi and Māori legal issues, whenua and governance, and environmental matters. I have a particular interest in the intersection of tikanga and the Common Law.

My specialised areas are complex and my goal is to provide targeted legal services with down to earth information and advice through a kaupapa Māori lens. I provide expert advice so that clients may proceed with trust and confidence when making decisions. I listen and come up with tailored solutions to protect client interests and try to explain the law in a simple and easy to understand way.

I am based in Tauranga but available to assist with your legal issues wherever you may be located.
